Here’s the email that went out to the club in January 2019:
Cowboy Ray: “And that is why I bet you $100 Trump will win the election in 2020.”
Me: “You’re telling me Trump wins in 2020 because he knows how to give people nicknames…”
Cowboy Ray: “Yep. That’s why he never called Cory Booker ‘Spartucus’. It’s too flattering.”
Now before you delete this New Year’s email that *is NOT* about politics, let me explain. I’m not a political person. But I was sitting across from one of my best friends from high school who has a “Sixth Sense” for politics.
He called Sarah Palin as the 2008 republican VP nominee when no one had heard of her besides a small group of polar bears in Alaska. He went to law school and wants to someday serve as a federal judge.
Dude is smart. But what I think will make or break his career isn’t his knowledge of the 4th Amendment. It’s his weird 6th Sense to pick election winners months away from voting day…
He was saying that Trump has a secret weapon that every candidate (Republican & Democrat) fears:
His ability to give terrible nicknames that stick like dog doo to a shoe.
(Probably honed from years of reality TV on The Apprentice.)
Lucky for you… as an Emails of the Month Club subscriber… you’ve got your own secret weapon for your business.
No matter what happens or who wins what elections:
The mind of Ian Stanley and his templates that have already produced big sales.
Ian’s been traveling business for the New Year, so we gave everyone an extra day to sign up for this month’s templates. This month is jam-packed for those of you who want your products in your customer’s New Years resolutions.
These are perfect for your customers who are looking to make a positive change, but need a nudge in the right direction…
Template #1 Choice – This email shows your prospects that by doing nothing (ex. not buying your product), they are still making a choice. And it may not be a choice they want their 2019 self to live with…
Template #2 Time – Great for piggy backing off of 3 of the top 5 reasons people break their New Year’s Resolutions.
Template #3 The “Coloring-book” Model – Make your product so easy to use, a 5 year-old at Denny’s could do it. If you’re selling products that need specific knowledge to use, this is your template.
Template #4 Here’s $$$ – Discounts are rampant this time of year. Make yours stand out by reframing it in a way that makes it feel like they’re leaving a found $100 bill on the sidewalk.
Template #5 What if you couldn’t fail? – The fear of something is worse than the thing itself. Show prospects how your business will be there to give them all the tools to succeed in 2019.
…and that’s this month’s five templates! Go forth and deploy for strong sales to start the year.
As always, you can download them as Text files, PDFs, and Word documents. Once you purchase the email templates, you’ll get the links sent to you immediately.
Please reply if you have any questions, comments, or unfulfilled 2018 resolutions.
Happy New Year,
James “Resolution Boy” Barger
